Your first appointment is designed to help us gain a thorough understanding of your concerns and create a personalised plan to support your foot health, comfort and mobility.
During your consultation, your podiatrist will take the time to discuss your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle and goals. Depending on your needs, your assessment may include an examination of your feet and lower limbs, gait and biomechanical assessment, footwear evaluation, or skin and nail assessment.
We'll explain our findings in clear language that you can understand and discuss any recommended treatment options, along with what you can expect moving forward. Where appropriate, treatment may begin during your first appointment.
Initial consultations are typically 40 minutes in length. Follow-up appointments are generally 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the nature and complexity of your treatment.
